Mrs. Barbara Kay Stroyeck, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 at Landmark Hospital in Savannah Georgia, after a brief illness. Barbara was born August 13, 1939. Barbara married her husband, Bruce Stroyeck of 65 years on July 26th, 1958. They navigated through the years together, on their incredible journey, as one, they raised one son and three daughters, providing for them, a home full of love and guidance.

Barbara was known for her infectious smile and big heart. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone she met. Barbara had a passion for cooking. She especially loved having Thanksgiving with her family. She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, and board games (especially Yahtzee) always put a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Orris and Helen Lane, and a brother Ron Lane. Barbara is survived by her husband Bruce, four children Michael Stroyeck, Debora Martin, Brenda Runion, and Becky Sikes. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Riccardi and her brother, Bill Lane, 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 5-7 pm and on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 11am until 12pm in The Chapel of Wood Funeral Home, with a Graveside Service to follow in Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 2 pm.
