Mrs. Bobbie J. Cobb Woods, 77, of Metter, died Friday morning June 16, 2017 at Candler County Hospital after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Willis (Bud) Woods; a son John Willis Woods Jr. a daughter, Jeannie Woods, a granddaughter Shalane Woods; and a step daughter; Kathryn Deason. Mrs. Woods was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bernice, Coy, Corbet, and Bill Cobb.

She is survived by a son, Randy L. Woods (Cindy) of Metter, two daughters Linda G. Blackburn (Gary) and Dianna Woods of Metter. Also, surviving Woods is a brother Vernon Cobb (Coleen) and sister Doris Beasley (Wayne),of Metter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie J. Woods will be conducted Monday morning at 11am at Wood Funeral Home, with burial at Cool Springs Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
