Mrs. Bonnie Ruth Tatum 75, of Metter, slipped into the loving arms of Jesus early Sunday morning, March 06, 2022, at Community Hospice in Vidalia Ga., with her loving family at her bedside. Bonnie was born on May 02, 1946, in Oak Park Georgia, to Mr., Coley Lee and Annis Emanuel Barber. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. Bonnie loved to cook and have her family all gathered around the table.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jimmy Barber and a sister Ann Barber.

Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Beth (Martin) Barron of Metter, Jackie (Dannie) Tatum of Glennville, and a son Timmy (Melissa) Driggers of Metter, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Also, surviving Bonnie is a sister Brenda (Jimmy) Brown of Metter.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon March 08, 2022, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Pillow officiating, burial will be in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Hall, Jessica Holloway, Samuel Smith, Dustin Rogers, Ashton Myers, Tony Brown, Jeff Lanier, C.J. Barron, and Cole Driggers.
