Mrs. Burnnes Sutton Martin, 87, of Metter, passed to her heavenly home on Monday October 18, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Burnnes was born on August 26, 1934, to Mr. Rufus and Edna Bishop Sutton. Mrs. Burnnes was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family, especially her grand children. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attending worship services at Restoration Worship Center.

Mrs. Burnnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mr. Curtis Martin, two daughters Ms. Brenda Martin, Linda Martin Driggers and two brothers, James Sutton and Randolph Sutton.

Surviving Burnnes are two sons Ronald (Pam) Martin and Robert Wayne Martin, two daughters Diane Bryant and Wanda Martin; Eleven beautiful grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers Don Sutton, Gene Sutton, Carl Sutton, and Steve Sutton, two sisters, Joyce Woodcock, and Flossie Nell Rigdon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am. on Friday October 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Wood Funeral Home, burial will be at a later date.
