Mr. David Woods, 62, of Metter died on Dec. 30,2020 at Candler County Hospital.

A graduate of Metter High School Class of 1976, he was the owner of a Quick Stop Convenience Store. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Woods of Metter. Daughter, Kendell Stern of Metter. Parents Harmon and Joyce Woods of Metter. Brothers, William Woods of Metter. Step brother Roger ( Sandy) Calloway of Evergreen Community.. Step sister, Linda ( Tim) Waters of Twin City.. Three grandchildren, Paisley, Gage and Fynlee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2,2021 at 11am in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Burnon Jarriel officiating. Burial to follow at Lake Cemetery. Visitation 5-7pm on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at Wood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Joel Rushing, Roger Calloway, Tray Waters, Kris Fowler, Kevin Stern and Samuel Rigdon  ALL CDC regulations must be followed.. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
