Mrs. Doris Ann Beasley, 73, of Metter, passed away Thursday night August 19, 2021, at Candler County Hospital. Mrs. Doris was born on January 03, 1948 in Metter to Mr. Emmit and Mattie Wilson Cobb and lived in the area all of her life. She loved collecting porcelain dolls, fishing, gardening and cooking, She found her true joy in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and true friend. A faithful member of Restoration Worship Center, she attended regularly  even while in declining health. Doris and her husband Wayne shared 58 beautiful years together, raising four beautiful children.

Mrs. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Emmit and Mattie Wilson Cobb and a granddaughter, Brittany Shay Slater. Also, preceding Mrs. Doris are five brothers Corbet, Vernon, Bill, Coy and Bernice Cobb, one sister Bobbi Jean Woods. She is survived by her husband Wayne Beasley, a son Shannon Beasley and three daughters,  Cecelia (Dan) Allingham, Lisa (Rusty) Dailey and Elaine Berry. Also, surviving are ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening August 23, 2021 from 6 – 8 pm at Restoration Worship Center. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning, August 24, 2021 at 11 am at Restoration Worship Center, burial will follow at Cool Springs Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Brannen, Matt Dixon, Chad Allingham, Devin Allingham, Logan Dailey, Hunter Beasley and Hayden Beasley.
