Mrs. Emma Thetis Watson Heaton, 90, of Metter died on August 18,2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. Born in Candler County, she was the daughter of the late, Willie and Adel Parrish Watson. She is survived by her husband, Ben Heaton of Metter: son, David Heaton of Metter and daughter, Donna ( Stan) McMikle of Albany. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30am in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Hibberits officiating. Burial will be in El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Twin City.
