Mrs. Faye Real Lanier, 76, of Metter passed away on May 19, 2023 at Azalea Nursing Home in Metter.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mitchell "Mickey" Lanier, her son Mitchell "Scott" Lanier, her parents Ray and Madeline Real, her brother, Bill Real and son-in-law Chris Hodges.

She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Hodges (Jason Patterson), granddaughters MaKayla (Wil) Miller, Meredith (Tyler) Knight, Paige (Hunter) Vaughan, Payton Hodges (Randan Rigdon) great grandchildren Hadleigh and Hayden Knight, Macie Michael and Warren Miller, and Wren Vaughan, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Wood Funeral Home, from 11am until 12pm. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm at The Lake Cemetery.
