Obituary Johnny Ray Anderson

April 22, 1958 – October 28, 2022

Johnny Ray Anderson passed away on October 28, 2022, at Oaks Bethany Home, Vidalia, Georgia. He was 64 years old.

Johnny attended Swainsboro High, East Georgia State College, and earnerd a degree in Structural Iron Work from Augusta Technical College in 1985. He loved playing music throughout Georgia in bands and solo. His songs were on the radio.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Anderson; his mother, Nell Anderson; and his brothers Steve and Eddie Anderson. He is survived by his brother, Randy Anderson (Lisa); half-brother, Larry Roberson (Kathy); neices, Angela Anderson, Amanda Neal, and Jennifer Swain (Kevin); nephews, Joey Anderson, Kyle Edenfield, and Jeff Roberson (Loren); as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Service will be held on Sunday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Metter, Georgia. Interment will follow service at Cool Springs Cemetery.
