Mrs. Juanita Warren McDaniel, age 98, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 31, 2023, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation in Metter. Juanita was born on April 21, 1925, to Mr. John Percy and Ada Durden Warren. Mrs. Juanita was a faithful member of Metter First Baptist Church; she was one of the oldest living members of the church.

Mrs. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mr. Ray (Bud) McDaniel a son Wayne McDaniel, two daughters in law, Vicky McDaniel and JoAnn Bowen. Also, preceding her were two brothers, WD Warren, Raymond Warren and one sister Louise Davis. Mrs. Juanita is survived by two sons, Rickey McDaniel, Jack Bowen and a beautiful daughter Rhae McDaniel, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great - great grandchild. Three special nieces Connie Sandlin, Linda Davis and Cindy Rangel. She loved and faithfully served her family and church family. A true definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday September 3, 2023, at The Lake Cemetery, with Rev Tom Osborne officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at Wood Funeral Home in Metter.
