Mrs. Lillian Romona " Mona" Hooks, 69, of Metter died on Wednesday April 18, 2018 at her residence. She was a retired store owner.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hooks Jr. and a brother, Jim Mimbs. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Greg ( Barbara ) Hooks of Metter.  Brother, Roy ( Debra) Mimbs of Soperton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2pm. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev, Johnny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be

Friday April 20,2018 from 6-8pm. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be, Darrel Mimbs, Ronnie Scrogham,
