Waycross- Lillie McGaha Leveritt, 89, of Waycross died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at

Baptist Village in Waycross after a short illness. Lillie was retired from teaching in Georgia Public schools.

Lillie helped her late husband, Reverend Bryant Leveritt, as he served as Pastor at

Merrywood  Baptist Church for several years until he retired and they moved to Waycross.

Survivors  include sons and daughters-in-law: George Truett  Leveritt of Savannah,

Oliver and Susan Leveritt of Houston, Walter and Angela Leveritt of Sylvania, David

and Sharon Leveritt of Knoxville; nine grandchildren: Jason Leveritt, Todd Leveritt,

Bryan Leveritt, Daniel Leveritt, Gerald Leveritt, Alexa Marion, Anthony Leveritt,

Marissa Leveritt, Morgan Leveritt, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2pm. at Merrywood Baptist Church

in Statesboro with Rev. Rusty Manning officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.

The family will received friends from 1pm. until the hour of the service.
