Mrs. Lorraine Tillery passed away peacefully, Friday morning April 5, 2024, at Azalea Health and Rehab in Metter. Lorraine was born September 18, 1930, to Mr. William Roger and Ola Mae Jones Rivers in Candler County. She worked as switchboard operator for Bell South in Statesboro, in her younger years. Having a servant's heart, Lorraine nursed and cared for her parents and grandparents in there declining years.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a son Williams Craig Tillery of Dothan Alabama, a granddaughter, April (Josh) Hebert and three Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted Saturday April 13, 2024, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Willams officiating, burial will follow at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
