Mrs. Marie Bell Hendrix, 88, of Metter died on Feb. 8, 2018 at Azalea Health and Rehabiltation in Metter.

Born in Bulloch County, she lived most of her life in Metter. She was a member of Primitive Grove Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Twin City Manufacturing with 40 years service. She loved to sew, garden and crochet. She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charley Buford Hendrix. She is survived by sons, Charles " Sammy" ( Elaine) Hendrix of Metter and Jimmy ( Jane) Hendrix of Metter.

Daughters, Judy H. ( Kenny) Scott of Twin City and Barbara H. ( Grady) Coleman of Swainsboro. Grandchildren, Ken Scott, Denny Scott, Lisa Newham, Lynn Edenfield, Charlene Sparks, Janice Cowart, Jenny Grimes, Charles " Charley" Hendrix and Brian Hendrix. Fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday Feb.12,2018 at 11am at Primitive Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Richard Davis officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Ken Scott, Denny Scott, Reecie Scott, Kenton Scott, Tim Edenfield, Brian Hendrix, Charley Hendrix and Denny Newham Visitation will be Sunday,
