Mrs. Mary Thompson, 91, of Blue Springs Missouri, formally of Metter died at her residence on July 10,2024. During her years in Metter, Mary was very active in

Cedar Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Thompson and a grandson, Carroll Joseph Thompson II. She is survived by daughters, Carol Jo Thompson, Pam N. Thurber and Carma M. Cox. A son, Richard A. Thompson. Eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20,2024 at 11am. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Reverends Larry Compton and Franklin Wilds officiating, music by Jim O'Brien, grandson in law. The family will receive friends from 10am until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Lake Cemetery. Arrangement by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
