Mr. Ovey J. Owens Jr., 61, of Dexter died on July 15, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing  Center in Metter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovey and Mildred Marie Theriot Owens Sr. He is survived  by a brother, Jessie Owens and a sister Mary Wood. Several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday July 17, 2020 from 6-8pm. at Wood Funeral Home in Metter, GA.

The family will receive friends at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Liberia ,LA from 12 noon until 2pm.on Tuesday July 21, 2020.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at 2:30 pm. at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Liberia, LA.
