Ms. Sherry L. Champion, 52, of Metter died on Friday Jan. 22, 2021 at Candler County Hospital.

She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Gordon and Shirley Tucker Champion Sr. and a daughter, Courtney Champion. She is survived by her daughter Roxi Danielle Santiesteban. Sons, George Davis and Johnnie Hiers. Brothers, Woodrow Gordon Champion Jr., Roy Champion and Terry Champion. Sisters, Melissa Friese, Darlene Champion and Rose Champion. Six grandchildren, Alexia, Trey, Addison, Vanna, Tallulah and Payton.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Cool Springs Cemetery on Saturday Jan. 30, 2021 at

11am. with Rev. Justin Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10am.
