Shirley McCullough Beasley

She passed away at East Georgia Regional medical Center Monday September 18th, 2023 after a short illness. She graduated Portal High School in 1953 and went on to receive her LPN License. She worked in the nursing field for 50+ years. She is survived by her two sons Henry Jerome Medlock & George Ronald Medlock of Metter. One sister Faye Mixon (Bernard) of Shellman Bluff. One granddaughter Erica Attebery Allingham (Chad) of Metter. One grandson Jason Attebery (Marsha) of Metter. She has one great grandson Chanden Allingham and four great granddaughters Annie Hall, Abigail Attebery, Lillie Allingham, & Addison Attebery. She was predeceased by her mother Ida Lou Wiggins, father Sammie McCullough, three brothers DeWitt McCullough, Fred McCullough, and Jerry McCullough, one sister Betty Jean Beasley, one daughter Gail Medlock Martin, and one grandson Austin Hall. Reverend Rick Faircloth will conduct the services on Saturday September 23, 2023 at Wood Funeral Home at 11am.
