Mrs. Thera Mae Sheppard Hall, 79, of Sylvester, formerly of Metter, died on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Per her wishes, Mrs. Hall was cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time. Mrs. Hall was born on December 27, 1941, in Candler County, GA to the late Theodore and Myrtice Collins Sheppard. Thera Mae was a 1959 graduate of Metter High School. Afterwards, she moved to Savannah GA. and worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company. While residing in Savannah, she was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hall enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR and watching the Atlanta Braves. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Ervin "Buddy" Hall (Tonia) of Scottsboro, AL, Anthony "Tony" Hall of Sylvester, and Teddy Hall (Libby) of Lee County; grandchildren, Laura Rhodes, Danielle Southwell, Canaan Hall, Zane Hall, Jared Hall, Lacey Hall, Lori Russell; great-grandchildren, Asher, Zoey and Emily Rhodes, Madison and Lilly Roland; siblings, Jacqueline McBride, Peggy Joyce Williams, Betty Ann Chubb (Rudy), Sylvia Dale Jones, Carole Jean Cress. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 52 years, Ervin Eugene Hall on April 10, 2016, a sister, Edna Merlene Chamberlin and a brother Larry Alan Sheppard.
