It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Wanda K. Clifton, who left this world peacefully at home on September 24, 2026. Born on March 9, 1962, in Metter, Georgia, Wanda's life was a testament to love, resilience, and warmth. She was the beloved daughter of Dorothy and Harold Googe, and she grew up surrounded by a loving family in the heart of Georgia.

 Wanda was a quiet and easy-going soul, a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved nothing more than enjoying a warm cup of coffee while watching her favorite stories. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Wanda was the devoted wife of the late Allen Thomas Clifton Sr., and together they built a beautiful family. Although she experienced the profound loss of her husband and her son, Allen Thomas Clifton Jr., Wanda's strength and grace were unwavering. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harold Googe Jr. and Charles Googe, and her legacy is carried on by her loving children, John Clifton, Marie Clifton, and Dale Clifton.

 Her family was the center of Wanda's world, and she cherished each moment with her grandchildren: Haley Mobley, Alston Bryan, Landon Hammock, Remington Anderson, Kaley Anderson, Rosealyne Miles, Hunner Miles, Mason Clifton, Michael Zittrouer, Jaymie Frost, and Alyssa Frost. Wanda also had the joy of being a great-grandmother, (Noah Mobley) a role she treasured deeply.

 Wanda was a cherished sister to Shirley Thompson, Roger Googe, Jimmy Googe, David Googe, James Googe, Tommy Googe, and Tony Googe. Her siblings remember her as a gentle spirit who was always ready to lend an ear and offer support.

 In remembrance of Wanda's compassionate nature, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.

 Though she has departed from this world, Wanda K. Clifton will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her family expresses their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They hold on to the memories and the indelible mark Wanda left on their lives, with the special message: "Forever in our hearts." 

May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of those who went before her, and continue to watch over her family with the same gentle presence she had in life.
