Mr. William Keith DeLaigle, age 65, passed away after an extended illness on October 27, 2023, at Oxley Park Health & Rehabilitation Center under the care of Affinis Hospice. He was preceded in death by grandparents Hubert and Martha Leu DeLaigle, father Billy Alton DeLaigle, and Uncle Charles H. DeLaigle.

Keith is survived by his sister Michelle Lavonia DeLaigle and husband Wayne Bodin of Arkansas and daughter Raven DeLaigle Gates and husband Cory and 2 grandchildren of Calhoun, Georgia.

Mr. DeLaigle was born in Savannah, Georgia and moved to Lyons in the mid 1970's. He was a 1977 graduate of Lyons Senior High School. Keith worked as a professional painter for most of his career, painting many homes on Lake Oconee. He resided in Milledgeville, Georgia for over two decades but had moved back to the Toombs County area for the last two years, living in the Ohoopee Community and painting locally.

Keith had a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. He was an avid bass guitarist and loved playing music with his friends.

Wood Funeral Home of Metter handled the final arrangements. A private family and friends memorial service will be held at Tybee Island at a later date.
