Angela (Sapp) Fitzpatrick

Mrs. Angela Sapp Fitzpatrick 69, of Metter, passed away peacefully October 8, 2024, at her residence, with her loving companion of 26 years Ruben Blackburn, at her bedside. She was born on September 19, 1955, to Mr. Robert and Ruth Brown Sapp of Metter. Angela worked for Birds Pharmacy which later became IHS Pharmacy for 14 years at the Lunch Counter and Soda Fountain. She possessed an avid love for animals, working many tireless hours, along with one of her many dear friends Amanda Wilson at the City of Metter Animal Shelter.

Angela is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving companion, Ruben Blackburn, four sons Chris (Shannon) Jenkins, Lee (Kate) Jenkins, Josh Fitzpatrick, Jake (Morgan) Fitzpatrick, and one daughter Jodi (JL) Fitzpatrick. Nine grandchildren and one brother Pete (Venda) Sapp. The entire Blackburn family and many many friends she took under her wings and loved dearly.

A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday morning October 12, 2024, at 10 am at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
