Barbara Ann Lanier

Barbara Ann Ackerman Lanier, 74, of Metter died on Sunday, Jan.7, 2018 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lanier and her

parents, Robert and Carrie Lee Finch Ackerman. She was a retired saftey officer with Plant Vogle.

She is survived by sons, Shane Lanier of Metter and Michael Lanier of Soperton. Brother Randy

McCullough of Portal. Sister, Carolyn Smith of Cornelia, GA. Grandchildren, Drew Lanier, Brandon Sotomayor and Taylor Johnson. Burial will be private. Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of arrangements.
