Bobbie June Oliver

Mrs. Roberta "Bobbie" Steele Oliver, of Metter passed away  on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Azalea Health and  Rehabiitaion Health Center. Bobbie was born in Nashville,TN. on  May 9,1030 to the late Helen and Robert Steele. Her family moved to Metter in 1946. On June 13, 1947 she married the late Earnest ( Spot) Oliver. She loved sewing, baking, country music and being with her family. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Spot, two grandchildren, a sister and two brothers. She is survived by six daughters and three sons; Ann and Eddie Shaw,Sue Oliver, Kay and Mike Donaldson, Peggy and Tommy Brant, Carlton and Jan Oliver, Ricky and Barbara Oliver, Bruce and Carolyn Oliver, Rhonda and Ryan Jones, Christy Blackburn; one adopted daughter, Deirdre Burford; one sister, Shirley Bird Goodwin; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Steele and Joyce Steele. She had twenty-one grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

,.A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 3pm. at Anchor Worship Center in Metter. The family received friends  following the memorial services..
