Brenda Gale Barnard

Brenda Gail Barnard, 71, of Pembroke Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 29,2023, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro, Ga. after a short illness.

She was a retired painter and worked at Georgia Southern University for 19 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice L. Barnard and Constance Green Barnard, Howard Collins (husband), Melinda G. Wilson (daughter) and a sister Myra Barnard Lewis.

She is survived by a brother, Leroy Smith (Tura) of Florida; sister Belinda Watkins (Robert) of Metter, Ga; sister Judy Cannon (David) of Oklahoma; brother Daylon Barnard of Guyton ga; sister Sheila Barnard of Sylvania; one daughter, Constance E. Gillespie of Bismark, ND; two granddaughters Selena G. Thompson of Waycross, Ga and Chelsea L. Gillespie of Bismark, ND; one great grandson, Keegan J. Rilley, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She loved her animals very much. In lieu of flowers, Brenda would like for you to make a donation to your local humane society and remember to spay and neuter your pets.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6,2023, 10am. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Daisy, GA.
