Carlton Stafford Jr.

Mr. Carlton Stafford Jr., 66, of Register, passed away after a long illness Monday afternoon, February 14, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Mr. Carlton was born on December 21, 1955, to Mr. Carlton Stafford Sr and Mrs. Evelyn Reardon Stafford in Metter, Georgia. He retired as a manager from Iron Peddlers, Parts Division in Savannah, a used parts business.

Mr. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry Stafford.

Mr. Carlton is survived by a son Brett Stafford, a grandson Desmond Stafford, a sister and brother-in-law Susan (Dana) Edge, and a very special friend Sandra Barnett. Also surviving Carlton are nieces and nephews, Dylan Stafford, Kris (Brooke) Edge, Krystal (Randy) Gill, Kevin (Alissa) Edge.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 5 pm until 6pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, February 17 at 11 am, at The Lake Cemetery, with Rev. Johnny Beasley officiating.
