Carol Elaine Nesmith

Mrs. Carol Elaine Sweeney Nesmith, 62, of Metter died on Sept. 16, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Darlene Ralph; her parents, William R. and Juanita Kinciad Sweeney Sr.; sisters, Connie Jean Sweeney infant and Betty J Cook .Brother, William R. Sweeney Jr.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Nesmith of Metter. A son Emmett Linville of Metter. Daughter, Deborah Evans of Alto,GA.  Brother, Stanley ( Tammy) Sweeney of McArther, W.VA Sisters, Sharon Sweeney of Durham, N.C., Kathy Daniels of Yadkinville, N.C.., Evelyn ( Larry) Smith of Savannah and Debra Covey of Mabscott, W.VA. Grandchildren, Merical Ammons, Jimmy Myers, Stephanie Ralph, Sabrina Ralph, Ida Evans, Sebastain Linville, Katelan Becklhimer, Emily Wampler, Timothy Wampler and Brad Evans. Great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jayden, Bently, Saphara and Emily.

Celebration of Life Service Sept.19,2017 at 2pm. in  the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Wood Funeral Home of Metter was in charge of arrangements.
