Carolyn (Collins) Powell

Mrs. Carolyn Collins Powell, 78, of Lyons, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation. Carolyn was born November 22, 1946, in Toombs County, to Mr. Solomon and Myra Atkins Collins.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell Steve Powell and a son Bryan Bryant. She is survived by a brother Dwayne Collins, sister Cheryl Fagnan and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday September 23, 2025, in the morning at 10 am in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home, burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, in Toombs County.
