David L Ward

Mr. David L. Ward, 63 of Metter, passed away at his residence on January 20, 2025. David was born on February 26, 1961, to Hubert and Lila Mae Doyle Ward. He loved restoring old trucks and cars, and worked as a mechanic until his health began to fail. He graduated from Metter High School. In his spare time David liked to draw, and loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father. David is survivied by his mother, a sister Janet Marsh (Jay Blackburn), three nieces, Amber (Chris) Carroll, Sam Marsh (Mark), Mindy Marsh, great nieces and nephews, Nathan Carroll, Serina (Rini) Reeves, Adrian Reeves, Makayla Reeves, Alex Reeves. Also surviving are several aunts and an uncle, numerous cousins

The family will receive friends on February 15, 2025, at 1 pm at Salem Baptist Church, a Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm.
