Emory "Wayne" Gay

Mr. Emory “Wayne” Gay, 66, of Brooklet, passed away Saturday June 17, 2023, at St. Joseph's / Candler Hospital in Savannah. Wayne was born on February 4, 1957, to Mr. Emory Genell and Gloria Jean Deal Gay.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister Rebecca Gay, and sister Sue White. He is survived by his first wife Betty Jo Gay, his second wife Vickie L. Allen and a son Joey (Angel) Gay, a step son, Joshua Keith Martin, six grandchildren, Kimberly Jones, Jacob Jones, Amber Gay, Molly Cooper, Essie Mae Adams, Bobby Ray Adams, and one great grandchild Ethan Lee Tilley.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, June 20, 2023, at 11 am., at Emit Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
