Fred Aviles

Mr. Wilfredo “ Fred” Aviles, of Metter died on Saturday August 29,2020 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he retired from Ace Hardware. He was an avid gardener and hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Delgia Julia Ortiz Aviles. He is survived by sons, Carlos ( Alena) Aviles of Brooklet and Miguel ( Denise) Aviles of Metter. Brother Julio ( Suzanne)

Aviles. Nephews, Julian ( Beth) Aviles of Harahan, LA. and Daniel Aviles of

Norcross, GA. Grandchildren, Alexander Aviles, Jerryd Aviles, Samantha Aviles, Abbee Aviles and Joseph Aviles. The mother of his sons, Susan Hardiman.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5,2020 at 12 noon in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Father Chris Ortega officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am until the hour of the service. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Glennville. All Covid-19 requirements must be followed.  Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
