GARY BARTON

Gary E. Barton, 66 died Sunday 
09-13-15 at Emanuel Medical Center,
after a courageous battle with cancer.
He never lost his sense of humor
throughout his war with the disease.

He was born and educated in the Houston
Texas school system, including Waltrip
High School and Houston Baptist College.
He moved to Georgia in 1980 and met the 
love of is life- Kathy Watson.
   
He was employed in the overhead door
industry and aeronautical industry in
sales, shipping/receiving and operations 
management prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Swainsboro First 
Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years
Kathie Watson Barton, son Jonathan Barton 
of Savannah,Georgia, son Mike Willson (Tiffany) of Utica,New
York a step-daughter Jenny Garcoff of Irvine
California and granddaughter Austynn Willson of Utica, New York.
He is also survived by his Mother
Dorothy Joyce Barton and brother Lary Barton of
Houston

He is predeceased by his father Winston Earl Barton,
Maternal grandparents, Otis and Mattie Isabelle Cline
Paternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Obie Barton
  
No local services are planned. A celebration of
his life will be held in Houston, Texas at a later
date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American
Cancer Society in Gary's memory.
