George Michael Davis

Mr. George Michael Davis 34, went to be with Jesus at his home in Twin City, Ga on February 27, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1990, in Statesboro, Ga. He attended Emanuel County Institute before graduating from Southeastern Technical College in Swainsboro, Ga in 2012 for his GED. He also went on to get a certificate in Electrical. He leaves behind a 5-year-old daughter, Payton and her mother of 8 years, Latrelle Jacob. He is preceded in death by his mother Sherry L. Champion and birth father Jorge Montelongo Sr., and sister Courtney C. Champion. George also had an adoptive father, Julian Davis and 8 other siblings, Jorge Montelongo II, José O. Montelongo, José C. Montelongo, Aracely Montelongo who reside in Kansas and then Jorge Montelongo III and Margarita Montelongo who reside in Texas, and Johnnie G. Hiers and Roxi D. Santiesteban from Metter, Ga.

George had a total of 25 nieces and nephews between his siblings.

George had previously worked at Bevricks, JoMax and The Sweet Tea Grill for 5 years altogether before currently working the past 5 years at The Rustic Grill in Swainsboro, Ga where everyone loved his steaks which were cooked to perfection! George loved spending time with his daughter, Payton. He loved music, tattoos, and was a great grill cook. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos play and Peyton Manning was his favorite.

George always had a smile on his face. He was a gentle giant and showed kindness to everyone he encountered. George impacted many lives in a positive way.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held March 14, 2025, at 11am., at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, the family will receive friends beginning at 10am, at the cemetery.
