Greald Cone Waters

Mr. Gerald Cone Waters, 77 of Metter died on Tuesday at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

He was a retired mechanic having worked at both the Ford Dealerships in Metter and Plant City, FL. He loved golfing, fishing and being on the water. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, his parents and a brother. He is survived by a son Gerald Cone Waters Jr. of Shellmans Bluff. A daughter Linda (Todd) Early of Statesboro and a sister Leonell McNeely of Claxton. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Aug.8,2020 at 2pm. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Williams officiating The family will receive friends from 1pm. until the hour of the service. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
