Hisako Hendrix

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Hisako Hendrix, who left this world peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 92.

Born on February 15, 1933, in Japan, she lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved. as a mother, she was our constant source of strength and comfort-someone who celebrated our joys, carried us through our challenges, and taught us by example, the meaning of kindness and integrity.

She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and valued. Whether offering a listening ear, preparing a home cooked meal, or sharing her warm smile, she touched countless lives with her generosity and gentle spirit.

She is survived by three children and seven grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, beginning at 2 pm. at Wood Funeral Home, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a remarkable life.

Our hearts are heavy, but we are comforted knowing that her love will continue to guide us. She will be deeply missed and remembered always.
