Mrs. Joyce Tucker Bird, 79, of Metter died on Monday March 23, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah

.Born in Claxton, she lived most of her life in Metter. She was a retired LPN with many years of service at

 Candler County Hospital. She was a member of Anchor Worship Center. She is survived by sons, Benjamin

 Jarriel of Knoxville, TN . and Jeff Jarriel of Lenoir City, TN.  Daughters,  Linda Klecka of Waller, TX., Tommie Martin

of   CA. and Karen Boggan of Metter. Fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

 Funeral services were  held on Thursday 1pm. at Anchor Worship Center with Rev. Jesse Goodman officiating. Burial

will be in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Claxton.Pallbearers were, Chad Boggan, Ken Beasley, Carl Beasley, Eddie Jones, Al Jones and Ashley Boggan. Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of arrangements
