Obituary
Mr. Jack “Larry” Sparks, 63, of Metter died on October 20, 2021 at Glennvue Nursing Home under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. Larry loved fishing, eating boiled peanuts, and loved riding in his little silver Toyota. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Patricia Cobb Sparks; his parents, James Willie (J.W.) and Eva Mae Tucker Sparks. He is survived by brothers, James Sparks and Scott (Diane) Sparks. Sisters, Patricia Sparks Cobb and Carol (Ray) Rigdon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 am., in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Sparks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am. until the hour of the service. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Sparks, Ronnie Vincent, Emmett Linville, Alan Cobb, Dylan Cobb, and Jim Futch.
