Joseph Anderson Sr.

Rev. Joseph " Joe" Anderson Sr., 67 of Register died on July 23, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro .He was born in Metter,  the son of late the Henry Elvin and Ruth Hiatt Anderson. A retired Presbyterian Minister, having served Metter Presbytterian Church.. He is survived by a son, Joe (Sarah) Anderson Jr.  of Statesboro. Daughter, Amy Anderson ( Ross) Oglesby of Watkinsville. Laura Anderson, his former wife  of  Register.  Brother, Stanley ( Pam) Anderson of Cartersville. Sister, Susan South of Marietta, and   grand daughter  Lilly . The family will hold a celebration of life service at Metter Presbyterian Church, 611 South Lewis St. Metter ,GA.  on Saturday,  August 4,  at 2pm. followed by a reception and visitation.
