Mr. Julius Emery “ Nig” Jackson Jr., 84, of Stillmore died at his home under the care of
Kindred Hospice and family members. He enjoyed deer hunting and river fishing He retired in 1995 as a Boiler Maker since 1969. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Lynn Jackson Baker. Mother, Carrie Thurmund Jackson; father, Julius Emery Jackson Sr. Brothers, Frank “ Booty” Pierson; Johnny Jackson and Thomas Jackson. Grandsons, Kevin Baker and Eric Storey. He is survived by good friend and the mother of his children, Betty Jean Edenfield Jackson of Metter. Sons, Mike Jackson and Ricky Jackson both of Metter. Daughter, Julia “Cookie” ( Dave) Herrmann of Metter. A sister, Wynell Boatright of Savannah. Seven grandchildren and Six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 27, 2019 at 11am. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Alvie Radford officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am. until the hour of the service. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home of Metter.
