Katherine (Reeves) Hooks

Mrs. Katherine “Kathy” Reeves Hooks, 84 of Metter, slipped into the loving arms of Jesus; Saturday morning July 30, 2022, at her daughter's residence. Kathy was born November 15, 1937 to Mr. Robert Gross and Ruby Jewell Crider Reeves, in Vero Beach Florida. Kathy loved the Lord and flower gardening.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Hooks, a daughter June Hooks Collins and a granddaughter Melissa Harris Tyndall. Also preceding her were her siblings, Manuel Reeves, Barto Reeves, Gross Reeves, Audrey Reeves Everett, Shirley J. Mandel and Geraldine Sipes.

Katherine is survived a son Mark (Jill) Hooks, and daughters Linda Turner (James), Erika Brandsma, and Deborah (Chris) Harris. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held August 01, 2022, at 2:30pm at Lake Cemetery in Metter.
