Lillian Romona Hooks

Mrs. Lillian Romona " Mona" Hooks, 69, of Metter died on Wednesday April 18, 2018 at her residence. She was a retired store owner.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hooks Jr. and a brother, Jim Mimbs. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Greg ( Barbara ) Hooks of Metter.  Brother, Roy ( Debra) Mimbs of Soperton. Sisters, Betty ( Sammy) Sanders of Uvalda, Shelby Miller of Vidalia, Grace ( Elmer) Herndon of Soperton and Patricia

( Ronald ) McNeely   of Metter. Grandsons, Lance Hooks, James Hooks and Nathan Hooks all of Metter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2pm. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev, Johnny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 

Friday April 20,2018 from 6-8pm. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be, Darrel Mimbs, Ronnie Scrogham,

James Joyner, Chad Padgett, Phillip Hansford and Mark Herndon. Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of arrangements.
