Louise (Moore) Fox

Mrs. Louise Fox 93 of Metter, originally from Richmond Hill Georgia passed away peacefully Tuesday morning December 10, 2024, at Azalea Health and Rehab in Metter; with her loving family at her bedside. Mrs. Louise was born in Ways Station Georgia, on September 23, 1931, to Mr. Archie Barnard and Ada Boxx Moore. Louise was the oldest living member of Corinth Baptist Church, she loved to read, crochet and play the piano. Louise was well known for her “special BBQ sauce and would never share the recipe. Her children and grandchildren were the apple of her eye.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband George Wilson Fox of 47 years; a son George Anthony Fox and a grandson George Jay Haymans. Left to cherish her memories are three daughters Debra (JN) Haymans, Janet Smith, Melinda Fox, seven grandchildren Gina (Wendell), Emma (Jason), Travis (Heather), Jana, Chessica (Thayer), Ashley (Aaron), Adam (Kristen), and thirteen great grandchildren Cody (Kasey), Dalton (Nicole), Mollie, Leah, Jase, Lauren, Brooklyn, Hunter, Greyson, Adelyn, Maddie, Hailey and Lexi.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening December 12, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm at the chapel of Wood Funeral Home in Metter. A graveside funeral will be conducted Friday morning at 11 am at Bryan Neck Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 7196 Belfast Keller Road, in Richmond Hill GA.
