MARCEYLYN (COLLINS) GILLELAND

Marcelyn Collins Gilleland, of Cobbtown passed away on April 11, 2015

 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. She was preceded in death by

her husband of fifty yeas, Dewy Gilleland Jr.  Marcelyn was born in

 Cobbtown in 1929 at the Coleman Hotel. She was raised in Charlton

 Grove Area ( Evergreen Community).

She moved to Florida at an early age, returning to Cobbtown in 1995

. She was a retired Bookkeeper and later was employed at Fred's.

 She was member of Sunlight Primitive Baptist Church in Cobbtown.

She is survived by a son, Douglas Gilleland of Cobbtown. 

 Sisters, Martha L. " Patty" Collins and Sara Ann Hogan both of Conyers, GA.

 A graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 2pm.

 at Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.  The family will receive friends

at Sunlight Baptist Church from 1pm. until the hour of the service.
