MARTHA PARKER

Martha Ann Meeks Parker,67, of Metter died on May 11, 2015 at her residence.

A retired nurse, she was a member of the Ga. Nurses Association, Volunteer R.N. for

Camp Independence and a member of Grace Community Church in Statesboro. She

is survived bu her husband, Guy Parker. Son, Terry ( Kathy) Dixon. Daughter, Stacey

( Charles) True. Sister. Judy Strickland. Step son, Michael ( Dawn) Parker. Step daughter,

April Olsen. Grandchildren, Bridget ( Chesley) Dixon, Ann Dixon, Hunter Dixon, Carson

Parker, Kensley Parker, Parker Olsen, Patton Olsen and Sarah Olsen. Great

grandchildren, Cooper Riner, Paxton Dixon, Jase Dixon and Emma Dixon. Several

nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 14, at 11 am.

at Grace Community Church with Rev. Mike Holt officiating. The body will lie in state

one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery in Metter. Visitation will

be on Wednesday May 13 from 5-8pm. at Wood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be

Charles True, J.B. Strickland, Chris Hackett, Chesley Dixon, Ben Hackett, John Olsen

and Terry Dixon. Rememberances may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O.

Box 531, Statesboro, GA. 30459. Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of

arrangements.
