Mabelene (Mock) Bland

Mabelene Mock Bland, 76 of Metter, passed away peacefully at her residence, with her loving family. Mabelene was born on February 05, 1946, to James and Lois Saxon Mock, in Jenkins County. She loved spending time with and taking very good care of her family. Mabelene was preceded in death by her parents, and stepfather Charlie Arthur; her husband of 27 years Gary Lynn Bland. Also preceding her in death is a son Ron Arban, a brother Clarence Mock, a son-in-law, Denver Miles Sr., stepsister Lillie Mae Miles, and a step grandson, Denver “Bubba” Miles, Jr.

Mabelene is survived by two sons Don Arban and Kenneth (Jessica) Lee, two daughters Betty Miles, and Donna (Milton) Aspinwall. Two sisters also survive, Jane Harrison and Joyce Bland, numerous grandchildren and great grands.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 6 - 8 pm, in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 30, 2022, at 11am, at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Millen, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be, Leslie Heath, Marvin Miles, Jeremy Hyde, Ricky Lovett, Ronnie Arthur, Earl Burke. Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew Miles Sr., A.J. Diakogiannis, and Lynwood Myers.
