Mark Duane Allmond

Mr. Mark Duane Allmond passed away at his home under compassionate care on June 12, 2024. Mark was born in Pensacola, Fl to Mose Edward and Mary Jane Jones Allmond but moved to Statesboro, Georgia in 1990.

He loved the Lord and was a member of Clito Baptist Church. Mark worked in construction for more than 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, his garden, and listening to the Allman Brothers.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

He is survived by his daughter, Meranda Allmond, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchild. His best friend and caregiver, Marie Lee.

A Memorial service will be held at Clito Baptist Church with Dr. Byron Twigg officiating at a later date.
