Mary Alice (Lampp) Kersey

Ms. Mary Alice (Lampp) Kersey 91, of Metter/Stillmore slipped peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, late Sunday evening May 3, 2026, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1935, to Mr. Arlie Little and Lula Mae (Lane) Lampp, in Metter.

Ms. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Daniel (Hoss) Kersey and two sons Danny Wilbert and Tony Dean Kersey. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Dianne Slater and Christeena (James) Meade; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Reba Lou McCullough of Twin City.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday evening May 7, 2026, at 5pm, in The Stillmore City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Sunshine House in loving memory of Ms. Mary Alice Kersey.
