NAOMI GOOGE

Naomi Tucker Googe, 60, of Metter died on Monday April 18, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital

in Savannah after a short illness.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Maude

and James Linton Tucker. Sisters, Eva Mae Sparks, Alice McCullough, Shirley Fail and

Alma Myers. A brother, Eston ( Shorty) Tucker. She is survived by Her husband

James Googe of Metter.  A son, Michael Rushton of Stillmore. Daughters, Diana

Rushton of Stillmore, Polly Wainwright of Nahunta and Amanda Rushton. Sisters,

Minnie Coursey of Metter, Mary Helen Sparks of Brooklet and Christine Tucker

of Metter. Brother Edward " Red" Tucker of Stillmore. Ten grandchildren and

 nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 21,2016

at 11am. in the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Thompson and Rev.

Bobbie Dismuke officiating. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be,

Terry Don Griffin, Jimmy Boatright, Cody Myers, Alan Cobb, Jason Cobb and

Donnie Myers Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Sparks, James Sparks and

Ronnie Myers.  Visitation will be Wednesday April 20,2016 from 6-8pm. at

the Funeral Home.
