ROLAND BROWN

Portal- Mr. Roland Brown Sr. , 76, of Portal died on Monday Jan. 11,2016 at his residence.

Formerly of Lake Placid, FL., he lived in Portal for ten years. He was a member of

Landmark Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Finnie and

Trudy Williams Brown, daughter Wanda Brown and a sister, Oreta Cowart and brother J.B. Brown .He is

survived by his wife, Connie Brown. Sons, Terry J. Brown, Rodney Brown,

Roland Brown Jr., and Scotty Harris. Daughters, Judy Cervin, Brenda Brown,

Darla Hunt, Candis Morrison and Rebecca Davies. Brothers,  Warnell Brown and Sonny Brown.

Sister, Stella Newton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Jan. 14, 2016 at 2pm. in

the chapel of Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Butler and Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 6-8pm. at

the funeral home.
