Randall Lee Simpson

Mr. Randall Lee Simpson, 82, of Metter died on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at Grace

Gardens in Metter under the care of Kinder Hospice. Born on April 12, 1935 in Nunez, GA. to the late Rufus and Alice Simpson. He served for nine and a half years in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and instructor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “ Micky” Simpson, a son Robert Simpson, brother, Euthan Simpson, sisters Irene Kingery, Louise Blackburn , Maude Dunahoo and Geraldine “ Gerry” Ramirez.

He is survived by a sister, Ruth Trapnell of Metter. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, a graveside service at 11:30am. at Lake Cemetery with Rev. Tony Prescott officiating. Burial in Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24,2018 from 10:00am. until 11:15 at Wood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Hut Kingery, Tommie Kingery, Lester Kingery, Joey Blackburn, Tony Ramirez and Kris Trapnell.
